Faculty of Legal Studies of Mewar University organised Legal Aid Camp on occasion of Constitutional Day on 26/11/2021 in Senior Secondary School, Pudholi, Chittorgarh. Chairman of District Legal Service Authority, District & Session Judge Shri Omi Purohit was Chief Guest and Secretary of District Legal Service Authority, Additional District & Session Judge Shri Bhanu Kumar was guest on this event. Mr. Harish Gurnani, Director Placement welcomed the guests. Director Placement of Mewar University discussed the importance of constitution and contribution of Mewar University in field of education.
Students of Faculty of Legal Studies performed a skit on child marriage and highlighted the impact of this social evil on society. Chief Guest addressed the students and expressed his view on Constitutional day. He told that Constitution of India is the biggest constitution in the world and students should life should be similar to a crow, focus on the work like a crane, take alert naps (sleep) similar to that of a dog a student should have these characteristics besides one should eat a bit less and as far as possible, stay away from the sweet home. Administration of constitutional oath done by Hon’ble Chief Guest. On this occasion Principal Shri Yogesh Upadhya & Sarpanch Putholi were also present. In this function Assistant Professor Pushpendra Solanki, Ms. Lavina Chaplot, Ms. Supriya Choudhary, Mr Shirish Shukla were present. Vote of thanks was addressed by Assistant Professor Amit Dadhich. Function wound up by singing national anthem.
