Description About Department
The Department of Pharmacy established in 2013, is one of the premier department of Mewar University, the department was instrumental for the establishment of the studies of pharmaceutical sciences. The department has been admitted to the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) right from 2013, for continuously year-wise successive inspections, the department of pharmacy is also the first one to get 100 seats approval for B.Pharma. in south Rajasthan Region.
With committed, competent and experienced faculty members, the department has to its credit, a committable record of teaching, research and training programmes. The department trains 100 pharmacy graduates and 60 diploma pharmacy candidates every year. The department have been training 100 pharmacy graduates since the academic session 2018-19. Apart from teaching and research guidance, the department has a credible record of organizing community healthcare activities, health awareness activities and other sports and co-curriculum activities. It is gratifying to note that some of he students trained in the department are well placed in various institutions (Public & Private sector) all over the country.
The Department of Pharmacy has been a pioneer in the Continuous education learning activities, Publication and organization of Conference. The faculty and students of Department of Pharmacy, Mewar University participates in National and International level Conferences every year. The department has published various Articles and books publications in various National and International Publications like Lap Lambert Academic Publishing Germany, Create space Publication U.S.A., Kbuuk Publication U.S.A., Pothi Publication India, Lulu press U.S.A. The Faculty members of Department of Pharmacy are Registered Pharmacist in Pharmacy Council of India. The Faculty of Department of Pharmacy has been collaborated with various organizations conducting Continuous pharmacy education and healthcare activities like WHO (World Health Organization), Power pack C.E. (U.S.A.), IHI (Institute of Healthcare Improvement- U.S.A.), PCE (Practicing Clinical Exchange- U.S.A.), Pharma Lessons (India), ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology, U.S.A.), NCPA (National Community Pharmacist Association, U.S.A.), WIPO (World Intellectual Property Right Organization, Switzerland), Future Learn (UK), Edx (India), Open Learn (The Open University-UK), Peer view CME-CPE-CNE (U.S.A.) and HEALIO CME-CPE-CNE (U.S.A.).
