Rules of the debate

Rules of the debate:

1. The debate will be held in two languages viz. English and Hindi.

2. Each of the team shall have one speaker speaking for the motion and the other speaking against the motion.

3. "All India Shri Nandlal Gadiya Memorial running Trophy" Shall be awarded based on the cumulative performance of the each Institution's teams. To be eligible for the running trophy an institution must participate in one or more categories.

Running Trophy shall be provisionally awarded to the institution based on the cumulative performance in both

the categories.

The institution that wins the trophy three times in a row will ultimately receive both Prize money and the Trophy.

4. All the participants Shall be awarded the certificate of participation.

5. Each participant shall be given 5 minutes to speak and 1 minute for interjection.

6. Verdict of the judges will be final. No protest or objection with regarding the decision or the procedure shall be entertained.

7. The host University will arrange for the local hospitality of the guest teams free of charge from the evening of 27th February, 2025 to morning of 02 March, 2025.

8. Contestants with written debates will not be eligible for prizes. However, a slip of puper bearing the points only will be permitted.

9. Teams are required to register through online link ( https://forms.gle/2hzisZsDQww8RDRg8 ) / QR code.

10. All participants are informed that they should make return reservations only after 8 pm on March 1, 2025.

11. All participants are instructed to bring with them soft copy and hard copy of the topic on which they are speaking and submit it after the debate so that it can be published in the university's magazine.

12. The last date for registration is 20 February, 2025.
