Gangrar, February 20, 2025 – The Faculty of Legal Studies at Mewar University successfully inaugurated a Value-Added Course on Cyber Law today, aiming to enhance students' understanding of legal aspects in the digital world.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome speech by Mrs. Geetanjali Sharma, Head of the Faculty of Legal Studies. She welcomed the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Lokesh Sharma, and inspired students by highlighting the significance of the course in today’s digital era. She emphasized how this course would equip students with essential knowledge beyond their regular curriculum.
Dr. Lokesh Sharma, the Chief Guest, delivered an inspiring and motivational speech, urging students to work hard during their academic years to ensure a successful future. He stated, "Work hard for these 4-5 years, and you will rest for the rest of your life. If you don’t work hard now, you will have to struggle later." He encouraged students to focus on learning rather than merely obtaining certificates and highlighted the increasing relevance of cyber law in modern society. His words deeply motivated the students.
A detailed introduction to the Value-Added Course was presented by Assistant Professor Mr. Shoeb Khan from the Faculty of Legal Studies. He urged students to actively participate in classes and not just focus on acquiring a certificate, emphasizing that true learning comes from engagement and application of knowledge.
