A seminar was organized on 4th March 2023 Saturday under the joint aegis of Mewar University and Vigyan Bharti on the occasion of "Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav" at Mewar University. The theme of which was "Contribution of Scientists to the Indian Freedom Movement". On this occasion, Prof. Manohar Lal Kalra, former Vice Chancellor of Kota University, introduced Vigyan Bharti.

Speaking as the keynote speaker in the seminar, Prof. Purushottam Paranjaye, Retired Professor of Physics, DAV College, Ajmer, and Patron of Vigyan Bharti Rajasthan Region, while speaking on the subject, said that today we have some world leaders like C.V. Raman and Prafulla Chandra Ray. I know the names of famous scientists, but many great scientists in the country have been like this. Those who have played their role behind the scenes during the freedom movement The names of only a few of those scientists are recorded in the pages of history. On this occasion, he also narrated many such examples and contexts that were related to the scientist, including how the British at that time presented the works of Indian scientists to the world as their own and registered their names in the pages of history. On this occasion, the Chancellor of Mewar University, Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya, said in his address that it was only because of the contribution of the scientists of our country that we were able to come out of an epidemic like Corona. Today we know the names of only a few heroines like Maharani Lakshmi Bai and Rani Chennamma, but at that time many heroines played their role in the freedom movement, but no one knows their names. Keeping this purpose in mind, under my own supervision, I am compiling the history related to the freedom movement of such heroines and great men at the university level so that the future young generation can also know about them. On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor of Mewar University Shri Anand Vardhan Shukla said that the image of India that has become so good at present is the result of the hard work of the Indian people, who have been hoisting their flag for a long time not only in the country but also in foreign countries. In many countries of the world, including America, Britain, and African countries, he holds high positions not only in political fields but also in many multinational companies.
