Students of Mewar University Participated In Lok Adalat Camp organized by District Legal Services Authority, Chittorgarh on Dated 14.05.2022
National Lok Adalat camp was organized by District Legal Services Authority at District Court Chittorgarh and Civil Court Gangrar. In which the students of the Law Department of Mewar University actively participated. The students were made aware of the cases to be settled by mutual consent through Lok Adalat. Along with this, important information about the legal process related to Lok Adalats was made available. Objectives of Lok Adalat Through the statement "Lok Adalat: Na Jeet Na Haar" the parties were informed about the importance and benefits of Lok Adalats. In this Lok Adalat camp, the parties to many cases related to nationalized banks, state and central government departments, private financial institutions, and private banks, agreement in matters related to resignation, compensation, old loan disputes, electricity-water and telephone dues. The pending cases were disposed of by taking action. President of District Legal Services Authority Chittorgarh and District and Sessions Judge Mr. Omi Purohit, Secretary Additional District and Sessions Judge Mr. Bhanu Kumar and other judicial officers and employees as well as Head of Law Department of Mewar University Mr. Pushpender Solanki, Assistant Professor's Ms. Lavina Chaplot and Ms. Supriya Chaudhary Including the students of Law Department were present.
