The Department of Life Science at Mewar University organized an industrial visit on 19 January 2026 to Miraj Foods (Aacharan) and Adesh Gau Sanrakshan and Seva Sansthan, Nathdwara. A total of 37 students from B.Sc. and M.Sc. Life Science programs, accompanied by faculty members, participated in this educational visit.
At Miraj Foods, students gained hands-on exposure to large-scale food processing, including manufacturing, packaging, quality control, and food safety practices. The visit provided valuable insights into real-time industrial operations.
During the visit to Adesh Gau Sanrakshan and Seva Sansthan, students explored sustainable practices such as biogas production, vermicomposting, and organic waste management, highlighting the importance of eco-friendly technologies and renewable energy systems.
The visit proved to be highly informative, helping students bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application while promoting awareness of sustainable and industrial practices.
