Engineer’s Day is celebrated every year on 15th September to commemorate the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, one of the most eminent engineers in India. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Computer Science & Engineering & Computer applications, Mewar University, organized a grand celebration of Engineer’s Day 2025 with great enthusiasm and active participation from faculty, students, and staff members.
The central theme for this year’s celebration was “Emerging AI-Driven Applications in Engineering and Role of Youth in Future”, reflecting the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence and innovation in shaping the future of engineering and technology.
The celebration of Engineer’s Day 2025 at Mewar University was a grand success, marked by enthusiasm, creativity, and teamwork among students and faculty members. The event not only paid tribute to Sir M. Visvesvaraya but also inspired budding engineers to adopt innovation and responsibility in their professional journey.
The Guest Lecture by Dr. Amitansu Pattanaik was highly appreciated, and the various competitions provided a valuable platform for students to exhibit their technical skills and innovative thinking.
