Mewar University, Chittorgarh, proudly celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on 31st October 2025 to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The event, jointly organized by the Rover Ranger, NCC, and NSS units, witnessed active participation from students and faculty across departments, spreading the message of national unity and integrity.
The celebration began with a floral tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Alok Misra, along with faculty members and student representatives. The highlight of the event was the ‘Run for Unity’, organized by the Rover Ranger and NCC cadets, symbolizing togetherness and the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat. NCC cadets also delivered insightful speeches on the life and contributions of Sardar Patel, inspiring everyone to uphold the values of unity, discipline, and patriotism.
In his address, Prof. (Dr.) Misra emphasized the importance of youth participation in nation-building and urged students to carry forward the legacy of Sardar Patel. The collective efforts of the Rover Ranger, NCC, and NSS units made the event a grand success, reflecting teamwork, discipline, and social responsibility.
The celebration concluded with a renewed commitment to national unity and harmony, truly embodying the spirit of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas and the vision of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.”
