Academic Tour to Central University of Rajasthan and Nahargarh Biological Park

Day 1: Visit to Central University of Rajasthan

On 25th September 2025, the students visited the Central University of Rajasthan under the guidance of the coordinators. The academic visit primarily covered the Department of Biochemistry and the Department of Chemistry.
The students had the opportunity to explore various advanced research laboratories, including:
Nanotechnology Laboratory
Animal Cell Culture Laboratory
Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory
Molecular Biology Laboratory
Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF)

During the visit, students observed the functioning of high-end research instruments (PCR, Biosafety Cabinet Level II, Inverted Microscope, Nanodrop, Ultracentrifuge, Deep Fridge- -150?, -180?, NMR, LCMS, GCMS, HPLC, CHNO-S Analyzer, FTIR etc.) and learned about the methodologies, techniques, and experiments being carried out in these laboratories. They were also introduced to ongoing research projects in the areas of nanotechnology, cell culture, molecular biology, and plant sciences.

Later, a faculty interaction program was organized where professors from the Department of Biochemistry interacted with the students. In this session, faculty members shared their insights about current research trends, scientific challenges, and opportunities in life sciences. The students actively participated by asking questions, which were addressed comprehensively by the professors. This interaction proved highly motivating and informative.
