The Faculty of Legal Studies, Mewar University, organized a guest lecture on Cyber Law under the Value-Added Course (VAC). Mr. Dheeraj Sharma, Advocate, District and Sessions Court, Bhilwara, delivered an insightful session on the practical and current aspects of cybercrime and awareness. The event was inaugurated by the Head of the Department, Mrs. Geetanjali Sharma, and attended by a large number of students and faculty members.
Mr. Sharma highlighted real-life cases of cybercrime, recent legal developments, and preventive measures. Key topics included phishing scams, online fraud, identity theft, data breaches, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students gained valuable insights into cyber law and its enforcement.
