The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Mewar University had conducted two "mock tests."2k23 for GPAT aspirant students (3rd and 4th years) of B. Pharmacy to develop and prepare them for the GPAT-23 exam.
GPAT (The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) is an annual all-India examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on computer-based test mode only, to evaluate candidates for admission of pharmacy graduates into the Masters programmes (M. Pharmacy), till 2018 it was conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
Prof. (Dr.) Kaushal K. Chandrul, Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, has provided the guidance and support to conduct this mock exam.
Dr. Gaurav Kumar Sharma, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacy, gave his valuable cooperation in organizing the mock exam.
The online registration of the B Pharmacy students for the exams was managed by Ms. Meenali. Mishra and Dr. Himani Tiwari.
The overall arrangement and organisation were done by Ms. Meenali Mishra, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy and Dr.Himani Tiwari, Associate Professor and Counsellor, have motivated students to attempt the exam.
Students have attended the mock exam and learned a lot about the pattern of questions and how to solve them in a limited time period.
Qualifying for GPAT has many advantages, including:
Students become eligible for admission to top-notch colleges for pursuing a Pharm.
Students become eligible for NIPER, IIT, BHU, etc. Pharm. entrance exam
A student can avail a monthly stipend of 12,400 Rupees in M. Pharm. after qualifying the GPAT.
Students can also get themselves enrolled in any research project and work on a JRF project fellow.
Students also become eligible for a PhD since many reputed institutes like Jamia Hamdard have made GPAT/NET the eligibility criteria for admission to PhD.
This was a great navigation towards boosting their knowledge and the betterment of the students achieving their goals.
The result analysis was done, and the top rankers have been disclosed, which are as follows:

1. First rank –Divakar Kumar - 154/500 - 95%ile
2. Second rank –Ayushi Maloo - 148 /500 - 91%ile
3. Third rank –Md Noorjamal Alam- 136 /500 - 86%ile
2 nd “Mock Test”
1. First rank –Md Sarniaz Anjum - 220/500 – 88.89%ile
2. Second rank –Divakar Kumar - 170 /500 -77.78%ile
3. Third rank –Md Safiqul Islam Sk - 160 /500 -66.67
