Educational tour of the students of the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Science

The students of the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Science went on a one-day educational tour to the Department of Agriculture Bhilwara, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Suwana, and Dryland Farming Research Station, Arjia, Bhilwara. All the students of the faculty participated in this educational tour. In this, the students learned about the soil laboratory and different types of agriculture schemes in the agriculture department. In the soil laboratory, Dr. Pratibha Vyas (Agriculture Research Officer) gave detailed information to the students about soil health cards and the testing of various nutrients under them. Dr. L.K. Chhata, Chief Scientist of Dryland farming Research Station, Arjia, gave information about the technology of CNG production from biogas and dry farming under the RKVY scheme operated at the center. Also informed about the new technology of agriculture at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Suwana. And told them about all the programs conducted at the center and also the head of KVK, Dr. CM Yadav ji guided the children. Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Alok Mishra, Dean Academics, D.K. Sharma, was guided in completing this visit. On this occasion, the Faculty Dean, Prof. Y. Sudarshan, Associate Dean, Gautam Singh Dhakad, Head of the Department of Forestry, Dr. Deepak Mishra, Omprakash Gurjar, and all the staff were present.
