73rd Republic Day Celebration at Mewar University by Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, 2022
Republic Day is celebrated in Mewar University with great devotion and passion. The chief guest for the occasion was Shri Govind Lal Ji Gadiya, Chairman, MES, Member of BOM.
The chief guest was welcomed by all the higher dignitaries of Mewar University followed by a guard of honor and Inspection of the Platoon by Chief Guest. And our Chief guest unfurled the National flag and we paid our respect and tribute to our national heroes who had sacrificed their lives for our republic day by saluting the national tricolor along with the national anthem. Then, the energetic and impressive Parade by NCC cadets and the Security staff was carried out. There were 4 contingents altogether led by Sergent Sachin Kumar. Next in line was the well-organized cultural program performed by the students of various departments. Cultural items and self-wrote patriotic poems were delivered by students Robin Singh, Imtiaz Ali, John Mohammed Lone, and Akhilesh Kumari with great pride.
In the end, our chief guest was addressed with a motivational speech on Republic Day and lastly, the program was concluded with a light refreshment for both the faculty and the students.
