Mewar University Signs MoU with Energy Swaraj Foundation

Mewar University has entered into MoU with Energy Swaraj Foundation on Thursday, 24th February 2022. MoU was signed by Mr. Harish Gurnani, Director Training and Placement, Mewar University, and Ms. Swati Kalwar, Chief Executive Officer, Energy Swaraj Foundation

The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. K.S. Rana, Hon'ble President, Mewar University, Mr. B.L. Swarnkar, Registrar, Mewar University. This MoU focuses on the establishment of Energy Swaraj Ashrams (or Demonstration Centres). These Ashrams will act as Solar Incubation Centers for creating and nurturing young entrepreneurs who in turn would provide solar energy solutions and services in their local area. It is envisaged that through the active role of Mewar University and these Ashrams, households, institutions, communities, and regions can become self-sufficient in generating and fulfilling their own energy needs using solar energy or other renewable energy solutions. Mewar University will provide a safe and secure facility for the solar incubation center or Energy Swaraj Ashram for the local entrepreneurs.
Mr. Dhwaj Kirti Sharma, Dean Academics, Mrs. Deepti Shastri, Dy. Registrar, Mr. Kapil Nahar Dy. Dean Engineering, Mr. Jitendra Vaswani IQAC Coordinator were also present on this occasion.
