Department of Forestry, Mining Engg. and Agriculture organized World Forestry and World Meteorological Day on 18th -19th March 2019. The departments organized various competitions like Debate, Painting and Quiz at University level .Students from engineering, pharmacy, forestry, cardiac care, agriculture participated in these competitions .In the event, our guest were Dr. J.K. Balyan, Meteorological Scientist, Dryland and Farming Research Station, Bhilwara. Sir delivered his valuable lecture on Agro-metrology and its importance in agriculture.Our next guest was Dr. R.L. Vishnoi, Retd DFO, presently Ombudsman, Bhilwara, who delivered his lecture on Forest and its importance in human life . Students had the opportunity of building their knowledge about save water and forest. Towards the end of the program, certificate distribution for the winners were done.
