Mewar University’s pavilion at India International Science Festival (IISF-2016) at New Delhi

IISF-2016 was held at CSIR-National Physical Laboratory (NPL) Campus, New Delhi during 7th to 11thDecember, 2016. The event was formally inaugurated by the Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh on 8th December 2016 at 2.00 pm. IISF-2016 showcased India’s S&T prowess, technological developments, history of Indian Science and science education involving more than 10000 young researchers, school students, academicians and top level Indian scientists. Dr. Harsh Vardhan informed that IISF-2016 is not only a festival but a movement to connect common people with science and its contributions to our day-to-day life.

The Mewar University’s pavilion was in Hall No: 9 at IISF-2016. The Mewar University shared the hall along with AICTE, CSIR etc. Various school students across the country, researchers, academicians and other eminent dignitaries working with the Government of India visited the Mewar University’s pavilion. The pavilion was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chairperson of Mewar University, Dr.Ashok Kumar Gadiya on 8th December 2016 at 3 pm. Prof. V.N.Rajasekharan Pillai (President, Mewar University), Dr. Alka Agarwal (Director, BOS), Dr. Ravi Kant (Director, Applied Research), Mr. Harish Gurnani (Director, Placement & PRO) and Mr.Shashank Kr. Dwivedi (Dy. Director, Publication) were present at the Mewar University’s pavilion.
