On 5th September, 2016 “Teacher’s Day” was celebrated in Mewar University. The programme was organized by Mechanical engineering Department. The Function started with lamp lightening and melodious Ganpati vandana by Music teacher Mr. Gopal.
Teachers' Day is marked as a special day for the recognition of services rendered by teachers, and this includes a celebration to honor them for their special contributions made in a particular field of education. India celebrates Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birthday which falls on 5th September as Teacher’s day since 1962, to admire his devotion for the upliftment of education. The day is also meant to felicitate the teacher’s efforts for making their students future career in earnest.
The programme started with the motivational speech by Pro vice chancellor Dr. H.S. Sharma.
