Chittorgarh: Following the vision of honorable chairperson Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya, Mewar University has taken one more step toward broadening the horizon of engineering education further for its students. Miss Golda Malhotra, who is the India Coordinator of “N+I Engineering Institutes”, a collaborative program of the French Embassy, conducted a one day induction session on the opportunities of higher education in engineering in France, which was attended by hundreds of Mewar University students from all departments.
Network “n+i” Engineering Institutes, which is a consortium of more than 50 Graduate Engineering Schools from France under the Ministry of French Higher Education, has been present in India since 2004 and actively followed the development of structured mobility programs with top notch engineering institutes in India.
The program has witnessed a steady rise in the number of Indian students opting for M. Tech courses. It provides students not only a single window opportunity for getting multiple admissions to study Masters in Engineering/Technology in esteemed French engineering colleges via an easy online application, but also offers wide-ranging services including cultural and linguistic integration as well as methodological integration to ensure academic success of international students admitted for engineering studies in France.
This event was attended by university officials, which included Prof. R K Paliwal (Dean Basic Sciences), Mr. D K Sharma (Dy. Dean Engineering), Mr. Harish Guranani (Director of Placement Dept) and all the Head of Departments of Faculty of Engineering & Technology.
Mewar University B.Tech Final Year students can apply for this opportunity before November 1, 2014.
