Mewar University has added one more feather to its cap as it has achieved 629th rank among the Indian Universities and Institutions. Globally, Mewar University has been placed at 13821th rank. This is no mean achievement given the fact that Mewar University, which came into existence in 2009, was vying with global institutions that have existed for decades, and some even centuries.
This ranking has been provided by "Webometrics Ranking of World Universities", which is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain. CSIC is among the best basic research organizations in Europe.
