The University campus,situated in the picturesque surroundings of the majestic Aravali ranges, is spread over sprawling 30 acres of land at village Gangrar of Chittorgarh District in Rajasthan. The Universityis emerging fast as a hub for higher and vocational education. Quality education is imparted here at minimum cost by highly skilled faculty members through state-of-the-art infrastructure and well-equipped laboratories. The University is endowed with a beautiful campus and is offering higher education to around 10,000 students representing 22 states, providing them with boarding and lodging facilities. The main aim is to provide vocational and job-oriented education to the youth of nearby rural as well as urban areas so that they do not face the problem of employability after completing their education.
Mewar University is going to organize a national level entrance examination, MUEE – 2013 for students desirous of taking admission to variousundergraduate/integrated courses. The last date for submission of the form is 30th May, 2013 and the examination will be held on 8th June, 2013 across the country in 73 cities. The forms are available at various centers all over the nation. The University will prepare a merit list, and the students securing higher ranks will be awarded cash prizes and waivers in tuition fee. The university provides students scoring less in MUEE-2013 with the option of joining Polytechnic Diploma Programme and later earning Dual Degree. After completing Diploma in 2 years, the student can opt for B. Tech programme of duration 3 years. After B. Tech, they are eligible for M. Tech/MBA programme which is completed in 1 year. Thus, a student can complete Diploma + B. Tech + M. Tech/MBA Degrees in 6 years.
