On 9th April, 2015 Department of Mechanical Engineering celebrated Guru Tegh Bahadur Jayanti on behalf of Mewar University.
First of all celebration started with lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana and “Moola mantra ek onkar” . The function was followed by speech of Dr. R. K. Paliwal, Dean, Basic Sciences andMr S. K. DAS ,Director Training,who threw light on the life of Guru Tegh Bahadur . They also explained the thoughts of Guru Tegh Bahadur by using short stories.
A song was sung by Mr. Rajesh, Narendra pal singh, and Manik students of Mewar University. A cultural program was presented by Varun and Mona group .
The function ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Gaurav Tiwari,(H.O.D Mech.),Mewar University.
