The Department of Higher & Technical Education (Government of Rajasthan) vide letter no. F. 10(3) Edu-3/08 invited various Governmental as well as Private Universities and Institutions of Higher & Technical Education for an event called as Gyan Chaupal gathering intellectuals and stake holders from all realms of academia.
This Gyan Chaupal which was held on the 14thof February at Mohan Lal Sukhadia University (Udaipur) with objectives of sharing best practices and experiences for enhancing the quality of education and educational institutions.
This gathering witnessed intellectuals namely Prof I V Trivedi (VC MSLU), Sh. S Sawhney (Commissioner & SP for Higher Education), Sh. T C Damor (VC Tribal University) , Sh. S K Singh (Director , Technical Education) and many more.
The honourable Chairperson of Mewar University Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya had nominated Mr. Samer Khan (Assistant Director, Applied Research) to represent Mewar University at this august gathering. Mr Khan had presented on the topic of Quality Assurance and Quality Control in Higher Education with Case study of Mewar University implementing its policy statement of Best Teaching, Best Training, Best Counseling and Best Research towards Best Placement. His presentation described how the teaching module of the university has led to enhance student experience by the concepts of lesson plans and peer review leading to most effective teaching content, in addition to that he also explained the training module of the university where the students are linked to their respective industries leading to assured placement possibilities. The counseling system being the backbone of it all creating a harmony of administration and homely environment for the student, additionally where a student has a single window approach for all his/her problems leading to the best and effective student experience.
