Union Minister Shri Jual Oram lays down foundation stone for vocational center at MU

Chittorgarh:Mewar University was privileged to welcome Union Cabinet Minister (Tribal Affairs) Shri Jual Oram on Feb 19, 2015. The Minister was welcomed by Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya, Chairperson, Mewar University when he arrived to attend the function at the university premises. The function started with the lighting of lamp and chanting of Saraswati Vandana.

Sri Ratan Lal Gadri, President, BJP, Chittorgarh was felicitated by Sri D.K. Sharma Dy. Dean M.U, Sri Suresh Dhakar M.L.A. Begun was felicitated by R.K. Gadiya, Member BOM, MU, Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya ,Chairman MU was felicitated by Sri M Sudarshanam, Registrar MU, Sri Govind Gadiya Secretary MES was felicitated by Dr. R.K Paliwal, Dean MU, Sri Arjun Lal Jeengar, MLA Kapasan was felicitated by Sri Govind Gadiya Secretary, MES.

Honorable Chairperson delivered a welcome speech in honor of the visiting dignitaries. Students of the university tried to showcase the diversity of India by a variety of dance performances that underscored the theme of India’s unity in diversity.

After these performances, our honorable chief guest delivered a very inspiring speech to the students. Shri Jual Oram then placed the foundation stone for the vocational center in Mewar University and observed that a bright and successful future awaits Mewar University in the field of education.

On the same day, to celebrate Shivaji Jayanti, Department of Management & Commerce had organized face painting competition in which 60 students from various departments participated enthusiastically. The theme was “Social issue in our nation” and students painted their faces to spread motivational messages.

Hon’ble Chairperson Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya inaugurated the wall magazine “Wall of Knowledge” in the Department of Management & Commerce. The wall magazine is an effort by students to spread awareness in the student community about general knowledge and current affairs.
