The Management of Mewar University took personal initiative to organize the Diwali Festival in the form of Carnival associating all its Faculties , Staff Members and Non- Teaching Staff to participate in it.
The programme was full of jest and jovial cultural activities along with outdoor games : Tug of War , Three Legged Race, indoor Games followed by Singing , Dances etc which made the environment suitable to the Festival’s feeling.
The Bhajan Sandhaya and Aarti ritual ceremony also drew the audience one and all towards the spiritual theme and importance of the Light Festival.
The special attraction of celebration was the most awaited “Lucky Draw” result Which was cheered heartily and the winners of different games were happy to receive their awards.
The Diwali Celebration was then followed by Luncheon. All greeting each other a “Happy Diwali” and parted away with the sweet packets given by Shri Govind Lal ji Gadiya, Secratery , Board of Management, Mewar University. He also addressed the audience and wishes Happy Diwali to all. The function was cherished by all.
