On the auspicious occasion of 6th Foundation Day of Mewar University, the University celebrated it’s Foundation and Fresher’s Day simultaneously on Sept. 21st,2014.
The chief guest for the occasion was Shri C.R. Choudhary, Hon’ble, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Nagaur. Mr. Suresh Dhakar, MLA, Begun was the guest of honor whose presence graced the function. The function was presided by our Chairperson Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya, in the presence of Shri Govind Lal Ji Gadiya, Secretary of Mewar Education Society, Shri R.K.Gadiya, Member Board of Management, and the Registrar Prof. P. Ramaiah.
The function started at 1:30 PM under a big pandal in the presence of about 4500 audience in University Campus with the Lamp Lightening and Saraswati Vandana.
Immediately after the unveiling of Student’s first Magazine “Young Aspirations” was done by all the dignitaries present on the stage which was appreciated by one and all present with cheer.
Since the theme of the function was “OLD IS GOLD”, the audience were moved to the good old memories of the past Indian Cinema songs, plays, and classical dance.
The first address was given by our Chairperson Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya. In his presidential opening remarks Chairperson spelled the Vision of Mewar University for the coming years and motivated students for better academic performance and emphasized the need of hard work to get success.
The crowd was addressed by Shri Govind Lal Ji Gadiya, Secretary of Mewar Education Society, Mewar University.
All Students of JNV(Jawahar Navoday Vidhyalay) were given scholarships and they got an opportunity to get clicked with Chairperson Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya.
The academic topper of Session 2012-2013 were awarded by our Chairperson Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya and Shri C.R. Choudhary.
Shri C.R. Choudharyenlightened the student with his positive thoughts and experiences.
The Vote of Thanks was given by Prof. P. Ramaiah, Registrar , Mewar University.
The cultural event started with a brilliant Ganesh Vandana.
Round 1for Mr. and Ms. Fresher took place where the participants walked on Ramp and introduced themselves.
The show was steeled by a rajasthani folk performance given by student from Jammu and Kashmir Students.
A state dance performance was given by students from different states including : Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, South, Punjab, Nagaland and Rajasthan. Participants also gave a lively singing performance in different languages.
Round 2for Mr. and Ms. Fresher contest was “Talent “ round in which the shortlisted students showed their talent including Marshal Arts, Dancing, Singing etc.
The theme dance showed the variation in culture.
Round 3logical reasoning of students were tested by different Judges.
The result was announced at the end of the function where Mr. Fresher was awarded to Nokman, Student of B.Sc Agriculture and Ms. Fresher was awarded to Mhasi thami, Student of B.Sc Agriculture.
