5th September , is considered as a “World’s Teacher’s Day”.
On 5th September , 2014 “Teacher’s Day” was Celebrated in Mewar University. The programme was organized by Civil Department. The Function started with lamp lightening and melodious saraswati vandana was sung by students.
Teachers' Day ismarked as a special day for the recognization of services rendered by teachers, and this includes a celebration to honor them for their special contributions made in a particular field of education. India celebrates Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan'sbirthday which falls on 5 September as Teacher’s day since 1962, to admire his devotion for the up liftment of Education. The day is also meant to felicitate the teacher’s efforts for making their students future career in earnest.
The programme started with the inaugural message extended by Mr. Govind Lal Ji Gadiya ,Secretary, Mewar Education Society and Member, Board of Management . The speech contained excerpt from the motivational speech given by Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and also many good old ethics and values which were sited proved motivational for the audience present.
In this sequence a small cultural function was organized by the student of civil department. Dr. R.K. Paliwal,Dean, Basic Sciences also gave a message in regard to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan'slife achievements which kept the audience spell bound. Dr. Paliwal also stressed the need of cordial relationship between the students and teachers to be maintained.
At the end of the function there was a wonderful surprise gift for all faculties as a token of the services given by them to the University in the form of annual increments accorded.
