One day seminar on “Quality Issues In Indian Higher Education”was sponsored by Mewar University on 26th June , 2014, Which was organized by internal Quality Assurance Cell of Mewar University.
The seminar was inaugurated in a traditional manner with lightening of the lamp and followed by Saraswati –Vandana. The welcome address was given by Dr. R.K. Paliwal (Dean Basic Science) who briefly described the values of higher education in the present scenario.
The presidential address was delivered by Mewar University’s Chairperson Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya who emphasized the importance and relevance of Quality Issues in Indian Higher Education in depth and signified its practical utility in the growth of the Nation.
The Prof. N. Lingamurthy, the Director of the Seminar who focused in detail the back-drop of the seminar which included his theme paper on Quality Issues in Indian Higher Education.
The chief Guest of the seminar Prof. P.K. Jain (MLSU, Udaipur) and Prof. Vasudeo Ramrakhiani compared the Indian Higher Education with the global education system and laid down the need of Quality Issues to be improved for its significance.
