Chittorgarh: “Shahid Diwas” was observed at Seminar Hall of Administrative Block in the presence of our honourable, Shri H Widhani (OSD), Dr. S. Durgaa Prasad, Dean (Management), Dr. Harish Nagar (Diploma Director) and Dr Aruna Dubey, Principal (B.Ed) on 22nd March 2014. The event was organized by the Department of CS/IT, Mewar University.
The program started with the lighting of lamp and garlanding of the portrait of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. Dr S. Durgaa Prasad dwelt upon the life and teachings of the Martyrs to the cause of India’s freedom.
Dr. S.Durgaa Prasad spoke on the life of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru. He also spoke on the contribution of all three in the freedom movement of India. He also urged that people should dedicate their lives to the cause of the nation. Furthermore, songs were sung by Vipin & Group students of First Year. In addition, Dr Aruna Dubey spoke on the life of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev.
After these, a speech was delivered by Mrudal and Aman, students of B.Tech. Furthermore, a play was staged by Diploma students (CSE) of the second year.
