Chittorgarh:Mewar University organizes general knowledge test examinations under its Gyan Ganga Yojna to improve the level of awareness among students of the rural areas. The students of the rural areas do gain sufficient knowledge in traditional subjects but they are often found lacking when it comes to their awareness of general knowledge and current affairs.
With a view to bring these students at par with their urban counterparts, MU Chancellor, Dr. Ashok Kumar Gadiya thought of a novel way of distributing general knowledge books among students of the rural background and encouraging them to participate in tests conducted from time to time.
Like every time, this time also the test was conducted and the top performers were felicitated at an event organized by Mewar University. Honorable Chancellor gave away the awards, prizes and certificates to the students. Shri Aslesh Dashora, Principal of central academy, spoke on the importance of all-round development of students. Shri Sunil Gadiya also spoke on the occasion, urging students to pay attention to general knowledge along with other subjects. Shri Ram Jas Dad, the PRO of the project, spoke on the significance of general knowledge in today’s world
