Chittorgarh: Mewar University celebrated the 65th Republic day on the campus with traditional pomp and gaiety. The Department of Electrical Engineering played a key role in organizing the event. The program started with National Flag hoisting by the Chief Guest Mr. Radha Krishan Gadiya. Singing of National Anthem followed in which everyone, including the dignitaries, faculties and students participated.
The Chief Guest took guard of honor and inspected the March Past. The program was followed by the speech of Dr. R. K. Paliwal (Dean, Basic Science) and Prof. Durga Prasad (Dean, Management). A patriotic song was sung by Mr. Shyam Sunder (Faculty of ECE Department) and Mr. Gopal (Music Teacher), which was followed by a skit performed by Harish Chaudhary & Group (Students of EE department) and poetry recital by Ms. Dhanshree (Student of Mechanical Department).
Mr. Divyanshu Prakash (EE), Mr. Sudhir (ME) and Mr. Prabhat (ME) anchored in the event. The student coordinators were Ms. Priyanka Meena (EEE), Ms. Divya Jashodia (EE).
The program was concluded with the National Anthem and the Sweet distribution. The whole event was successfully coordinated by the HOD and faculty with active support by the organizing team of EE Department.
