The seminar was sponsored by NAAC, Bangaluru. The seminar was inaugurated by Prof. Shyam Sundar Pattnaik, Director, National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh. In his inaugural address, he posed a very stimulating question to all the teaching fraternity, are we ready for the next-generation study of the Metaverse world? He suggested a multi-disciplinary approach for creating a research culture in higher education institutes.

The keynote address was given by Shree Praveer Saxena, Ministry of Education, Government of India. He stated that the new National Education Policy has taken initiatives related to the promotion of academic research for creating fresh knowledge.  As the government has limited funds, the universities should try to get corporate funding and industry support for research activities. The valedictory address was given by Dr P. Prakash, Former Vice Chancellor, SRM University. In his address, he appreciated the efforts of Mewar University to provide quality education to poor students of rural areas. He also gave information about different types of fellowship programmes that support the research activities of the universities.
