Guest lecture on “Linguistic Diversity “

Department of English conducted an online guest lecture on Linguistic diversity on 22nd of June,2022. The speaker Dr. Shamseer Babu PK , Faculty, Department of English,Shree Shankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, Kerala delivered the lecture. He stated that linguistic diversity or language diversity is the differences between different languages. The world has almost 7000 languages. Languages in the Indo-European Language family are the most spoken in the whole world. Languages do not exist in isolation nor are they self sufficient. Constant changes and growth happen to all living languages. We as students and academicians have a role in nurturing multi language environments in our campuses.
