The National Energy Conservation Day is being celebrated every year on December 14 since 1991. The objective to celebrate the National Energy Conservation Day is to drive mass awareness about the importance of energy efficiency and conservation. The NSS unit of Mewar University is celebrating the Energy Conservation Week under "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" from 18 December to 23 December 2021. The celebration includes various activities like Poster Making Competition, Essay competition, Quiz, Total Power Shut down for one hour in the campus and energy conservation awareness and renewable energy promotion in nearby areas. More than two hundred students are involved in this programme. In the last day of celebration week, award distribution ceremony is organized.
