On November 14, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, celebrated 128th birth anniversary of India’s Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru as well as Children’s day.
Celebration started with Saraswati Vandana and lamp lighting. The small video clip describing J.L. Nehru’s contribution to freedom of Indian was displayed. Speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. R.K. Paliwal, Dean Basic Sciences, Mewar University. He described the leadership quality of Pt. Nehru.
The programme started with a dance by Miss Priya Kumari, students of B. Pharma 1st year. Then Mr. Arpit singh, student of D. Pharmacy 2nd year delivered a speech. A beautiful song was sung by Mr. Tausif Alam, student of B. Pharmacy 1st year and Mr. Usman Saini delivered a speech on CHACHA JI. Then Miss Ruquayyah Satdu sang a very nice song.
An inspirational speech was given by respected registrar O. P. Gupta. A melodious song was sung by a Nigerian girl at last and the function concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr. Aziz Ahmed, HOD, Department of Pharmaceutical sciences’ and as usual the function ended up with National Anthem.
