Campus

The University campus is situated in the vicinity of the scenic Aravali ranges, and it is spread over sprawling 30 acres at Gangrar of Chittorgarh District (Rajasthan), just 18 km away from the city of Chittorgarh. The campus can be easily approached by road and railway network as it is situated on NH 48 (Delhi-Mumbai Highway) and connected with all the major cities through roads and broad-gauge railway tracks. The nearest airport is Dabhok (Udaipur), which is 100 km away from the campus and is well connected with major cities through regular flights.

Mewar University has the unique distinction of being the only University in the District of Chittorgarh (Rajasthan). The University has been set up to benefit students from India as well as other countries. The University fills up the void in the field of higher, technical and vocational education in the Mewar region which, in spite of being rich in terms of agricultural, industrial and business growth, has lagged behind in education vis-a-vis the neighboring districts like Udaipur, Ajmer and Jaipur.

The campus is divided into various functional zones such as Academic and Administrative Blocks, Hostels and Residential Complex for faculty and staff. It has co-educational facilities with separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls. Along with academics, the well-laid campus provides all facilities for cultural, recreational and sports activities. The campus, shown below in model view, will reach its completion in 2018.
